Brennan and Chase made their First Holy Communion on May 1st. It was a very spiritual and wonderful day. They both looked so handsome. The service was a bit long, due to the fact that 80 children were participating. They broke the group into two sessions. Luckily we had the later one so we didn't have to be at the church until 10:30. Poor Brennan was having terrible allergies and Ryan gave him a
benadryl by mistake (instead of the Zyrtec)...so he was a little sleepy during the ceremony. The whole
experience really broke him closer to the Lord. He actually wants to go to church on Sundays (instead of being dragged). He looks forward to
receiving the
Eucharist every week.
