Lent

We have now entered Lent. Part of lent as a Catholic means you are supposed to give up something until Easter. After all God gave his only son for us, and Jesus gave his life for us, so we should be able to give up something for 40 days. Here is what we have chosen this year. Brennan is giving up candy, Reid is giving up gum, I am giving up chocolate, and Ryan is giving up eating out for breakfast at work. In addition to that Brennan has a Lenten box that he is supposed to fill with $10 by Easter which will be donated to H.O.P.E (help for oncology problems and emotional support). Reid had a hard time with this. At first he wanted to give up cheese, then pears, but finally stuck with gum.
